Populate "Linked Issues" automatically
Copy-pasting the issue names from text fields to the "issue links" field takes time. Adding them automatically (via a button maybe) would be useful and efficient.

Hey guys, any updates on this?

I'm adding my two cents here.
Perhaps the point will be to look into the ticket numbers that are written in the Done, To Do and Impediments boxes and automatically add them to the "Linked Issues" box.
What happens today is that the person that is filling the report has to write the JIRA ticket number in those boxes (Done, To Do, Impediments) and also look for the issues in the top-right list of "Recent issues you have been working on"

Looks like it is possible to get issues for current sprint: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Advanced+Searching+Functions#AdvancedSearchingFunctions-openSprints()
https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/199842/function-in-jql-for-current-sprint
Not sure if it returns issues for not started sprints though

Displaying issues from the current Sprint sounds like an interesting idea for Scrum boards.
For Kanban we could display top issues from the backlog.Let us investigate that and see if it is easily doable.
Thanks!

Hi Jacek
that would be less useful in our opinion. The most important field for us is the "To Do" field and we put there issues we haven't worked on yet. When I fill in the daily, I open an other navigator with the agile board on it so that I see all the issues in the iteration. So displaying a list with all the issues of the iteration would be more useful.
Kind Regards

Hi Yann,
What about the opposite direction flow?
The right side list shows recenlty updated issues. When you select items then they are automatically added to the "linked issues" field and from there can be copied to text fields with one click (the grey bottom-left buttom located inside the text field).
Can you let us know if the above works fine for your needs?
Thanks,
Jacek
